The greenway Bed and Breakfast in Newport is a fantastic place to base yourself as you explore county Mayo and the Clew Bay region. With quick and east road and cycle links to Westport and Achill there is no better place to call home while you explore this wonderful region on the west coast of Ireland.

There is much to do in the local vicinity such as cycling on the Greenway, walking and hiking on the mamultitude of trails, sea fishing in the beautiful Clew Bay or salmon and trout fishing on the many rivers of the region. There are a number of golf courses in the area including Mulranny, Kilmeena and the championship course in Westport. Also in Westport there is Wstport Hpouse and childrens zoo.

And of course Ireland's sacred mountain Croagh Patrick is located at Murrisk approximately 12 miles from Newport between Westport and Louisberg which is well worth the climb which shoul take a few hours, although the superfit have been known to get up and down within an hour!
